2 AugAll things evolve and so have my ideas. I felt too much of a limitation striving to focus on one market. I will still strive to deliver the substance I want to deliver which is local creativity throughout the Dallas Area. I want to show you that you don’t have to go far to find something you like. Although I also have decided I am going to break my rules, if I had any and post really what I would like to post. Maybe what I have found interesting as you will find at the end of this, some music, or something random.
I found this website/APP that is very unique in the way it sets up its stations. It could be your morning commute, your mood, or just waking up. You are then given various choices on types of music you can listen to. Take some time and check it out because I think it is amazing and so should you.
Enjoy

Civilian by Carlos Garcia Jr.
20 JulThis video was made by a young aspiring film maker from Dallas, Carlos Garcia Jr… He creates his stories with the intention of developing an opinion about the world we live in today. One thing Carlos has said is that he has enough faith in the audience’s thought process, so that he doesn’t have to reveal the entirety of his message and hopes the audience can come up with their own interpretation of his work. Carlos also has an idea that all Art regardless of medium must say something. This short film titled ‘Civilian’ was inspired by “The Happiest Day,” a poem written by Edgar Allen Poe. You can find more of his videos on vimeo, and he is also on facebook. In the video is Andrew Calucag, Jodi York, and Will Tran. Hope you enjoy!

Cash Out – Cashin’ Out (Austin Maddox Remix)
19 JulHere is a track from Austin Maddox. He is an independent electronic dance music producer located straight out of Dallas. On his soundcloud he describes himself with the word “Ingredients: Dirty Dutch / Nu Jump Up / Moombahton / Moombahcore / Dubstep / Electro House / Bass Music” and his songs don’t lie. This guy is definitely an up and coming artist you want to keep your eyes on. He has a Marketing degree from the University of North Texas, and a full time job which takes up the majority of his daytime. In turn he has limited amounts of time to work on his music, but you can’t tell because the tracks he has up on soundcloud and tracks I have heard personally are top notch. He can be contacted for remixes, collaborations and side projects through various social networks located below.
